DONATIONS
We’re so thrilled about the response to our little brvnch experiment. Since many of you have inquired and since we’d like to be able to continue without damaging our finances, we’ll be putting out a donation tin this month. We ask that you toss in a $5 donation to help us offset the cost. It’s not required, obviously, and only give what you can afford. But just know that your donation will help us continue to feed you once a month :)
HOLLA
Our wonderful bartender, Kyle Bullen, has been getting some love from the Internetz lately, as well as dropping some knowledge on Martha Stewart’s radio show:

So you know these White Russians will be a treat. And we totally won’t judge you if you show up in a robe.
AGENDA
We decided, in the holiday spirit, to do a White Elephant gift exchange this month. You may know this tradition as Yankee Swap or Bad Santa. Or if you’re a fan of The Office - season 2, episode 10. If you’ve never participated in White Elephant, we’ll explain the rules when you get here, just make sure to bring a gift. Usually this is played with gag gifts, but it’s always good to have a few things that people might actually want. Just please don’t pull a Michael Scott and bring an iPod. Seriously. We don’t want anyone spending money on this - it should be fun and low-stress.
Since we’ll be doing the gift exchange, we’ll watch a short video this month - The Story of Stuff. It’s only about 20 minutes but appropriate for the holiday season.
Sarah will also be there with her magic soap, if you need a refill already, or some last-minute holiday gifts: http://simplesoapshop.com.
As usual, we’ll serve food around 1 p.m. and our door will be open around noon. We’ll start the exchange around 2.
RSVP: On Facebook, or in the comments below.
THE MORE THE MERRIER
Please invite partners, friends and family, but make sure your RSVP is accurate, so we know how much food & drink to make. If you are bringing someone not invited through Facebook please shoot us a message or note it on the wall.
DIRECTIONS
Our apartment is on the corner of Robeling Street and South 3rd, in the same building as the Aden’s Grocery on the corner. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the Marcy Ave. J/Z, a 10-minute walk from the Bedford L or a 15-minute walk from the Broadway G.
When you arrive, buzz number 6. It’s on the third floor. And please mind the front gate, it slams annoyingly if you’re note careful.
